Short Story - Berry by Langston Hughes

In the light story, pluck, the protagonist, Berry, is a black military personnel who finds himself in many conflicts with the whites. He was uneducated because of the segregation in that respect wasnt many schools for Negroes. He essential a job so he headed to the north. He got a job at Dr. Renfields Home for Crippled tikeren plainly was handle very sternly due to his race. He was all all over worked and under gainful, and he did everything he was told to even though he wasnt paid for half of it. He dedicated most of his otiose time to the kids and star daytime something terrible happened. He was winning one of the kids come in to the land and the wheelchair managed to tip over and the child fell out. Although he wasnt hurt and it wasnt Berrys fault, it was an accident, , Berry got fired and his dying pay was taken off from him.\nWhen Berry was sent to the job, Mrs Osborn was not expecting a Negro. her write to the employment.. brought results-dark ones. She didn t slam how the other staff would react, as they were not use to fork up someone dark working(a) with them because their perceptions to dark people had already been formed by sociable norms. Mrs Osborn did not know where Berry would short sleep as he could not sleep with the pass off of the employees due to his colour.
